User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:85.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/85.0

Steps to reproduce:

When printing bank statement from US Bank in PDF format, part of the left & top margin/text is missing. Does not show this way on print preview. When printing bank statements from 2 other banks using Firefox, this problem does not exist. I used the fit to page option in each case. I installed a new PC mid Jan 2021 with Win10 Professional, 64 bit. My previous PC ran Win7 professional, 64 bit. I never experienced this problem with my old PC. Mozilla Support Forum suggested I report this problem to you.

Actual results:

See above and attached scan of Firefox print.

Expected results:

Thanks for the bug report. Can you please attach a modified version of the PDF in question?

What do you mean by a modified version of the PDF in question. I just updated to version 86 of Firefox and printed the statement from US Bank and the bug is still alive.

I supposed you printed out a PDF document provided by the bank and the attached PDF in comment 0 is a result of the print out, no? Or you printed out an HTML document? Anyway, I think you can't share the original document as it is, so I'd ask you to post a modified version of the original document to replicate this issue on our side. Thanks!

I saved the bank statement PDF file to my PC. I opened with Firefox and printed 1 page and duplicated the problem. I open it with PDF24 and printed the same page and it printed fine. The problem is this is my mother's check book statement and it has her bank account number on it and I have no way of blocking/redacting it out. I don't feel comfortable sending it to your site. Do you know of a free program that would allow me to redact her account number which is on every page.

I am sending my mom's US Bank statement in PDF format as requested and I have blocked out her account number. If I open with Firefox and print page 3 of this file the top and left margin are gone as well as some of the text.

I'm marking the attachments here as "private" to protect private details (so that, at most, a small set of Mozilla developers with security-bug access will have access to them).

I think this might be approximately the same as bug 1693989 which is also about PDF content getting clipped when it's too close to the edge of the page.

Attachment #9205900 - Attachment is private: true

I'm marking this as a duplicate of bug 1693989 because it seems to be the same problem. If that bug is resolved and this issue persists we can reopen this bug.

Here's a screenshot of the top-left of Page 3 of the attached PDF bank statement (the one referred to in comment 6), rendered in a PDF viewer.

As can be seen in this screenshot, there's content that's extremely close to the edge of the page, which could easily be clipped if we tried to render this PDF at the top-left of an actual printed page (on a printer with nonzero unwritable areas).

Hence, this seems likely to be a version of bug 1693989.

After all this time I still experience this problem when using Firefox when downloading and printing PDF bank statements documents. Some of the numbers on the right side of the documents are cut off on my Citi Bank statements. I have just switch to Microsoft Edge to solve the issue. I don't understand after all this time why you have not fixed the issue.
