User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 MultiZilla/v1.1.22 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 MultiZilla/v1.1.22 Short: Launch File button should be enabled on download-finish, it only does on select. I'm Downloading files that can be launched by mozilla (zip-archives for example) using my download manager as the default window. I highlight (select) my item while it's downloading and since it's not ready yet the Launch File button is disabled. My download finishes nicely showing Progress: "Finished" in the d/l manager, but my Launch File button doesn't become availible. The workaround ofcourse is: Select another item in your list, and select the item you want to launch again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download a file that can be launched 2. Open your Download Manager and select the downloading item 3. Wait for your download to finish Actual Results: Launch File button isn't enabled Expected Results: Enable the launch file button (doh)
Seeing this bug in trunk build 2002092511 - WinXP. Any other bugs like this one in bugzilla ? I do not want to confirm a duplicate ;-)
You thinking me not search in Bugzilla? You fool! :D Well, I've got this strange feeling even I could fix this bug in Mozilla.

One effect of this bug is if the download manager window is cleared. When you go to download a file, there is only one item in the DL manager. Therefore, there is *no* other item to click on so you can click back on the downloaded file. The buttons are disabled and useless in this case.
this still happens in the Mozilla 1.3 release test candidate available on mozillazine.org!
duping this to bug 171890. I do think these two bugs deal with the same issue. Yes this is the one that was filed first, and both bugs have an equal number of CC members, but bug 171890 has a bit more discussion. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 171890 ***
