This is a follow-up bug after discussions in Bug 1709575, see Comment 6 for dev analysis.
Affected Versions:
Nightly 90.0a1
Beta 89.0b13
Affected Platforms:
MacOS
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to reddit.com
- Click on any thread, such as: https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitiveoverwatch/comments/n6h069/overwatch_league_fans/ - this is thread (1)
- Scroll down to the "More posts from the <subreddit name> community" section of the page, and click on another thread there. Let's call this thread (2).
- Swipe up multiple times
Expected Results:
The over scroll animation should be correctly displayed above the fixed header.
Actual Results:
The black header of thread (2) is included in the overscroll animation.

Notes:
This issue is visible after the fix in Bug 1709575 (which caused the overscroll animation to not be displayed in the first place). Not a regression. Although Reddit is a high-traffic site, based on the discussion in the mentioned Comments from Bug 1709575, the browser behavior is consistent with the page structure, thus marking this with S4 severity.

Marking it as P3. As Timea said, the behavior is consistent with the page structure. We could consider a site intervention if we see more reports.
FWIW, Safari shows the same behavior. Chrome doesn't overscroll at all in this situation.
