Steps to reproduce:

  1. In TB 78, Today Pane Filter Tasks can be changed from Current Tasks to any of its other options; my preference is Next Seven Days. It worked fine.
  2. In TB 91 Beta6, ie, 91.0b6 [en-gb, Linux x86, thunderbird-91.0b6.tar.bz2], in both Normal & Safe Mode, the filter is broken, such that it cannot be changed from Current Tasks.
  3. In TB 91 Release [en-gb, Linux x86, thunderbird-91.0.tar.bz2], in both Normal & Safe Mode, the filter is still broken, such that it cannot be changed from Current Tasks.

Actual results:

Regardless of selecting any of the other filter options, no change ensues, so that the Today Pane Task List remains filtered only for Current Tasks.

Expected results:

The active filter should respect the user's wishes, just as it did in TB 78 & before.
