User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.1) Gecko/20020826 Many normal users (non-developer/non-designer) are unaware of the menu option for zooming text (View -> Text Zoom), and despite the availability of keyboard shortcuts, most users will be unaware of them as well. The text zoom tool should be made available on the toolbar by default. It should be possible to remove from the Preferences -> Navigator panel that reads, "Select the buttons you want to see in the toolbars." I believe that such a feature is available on IE/Mac. The reasoning behind this is that developers are beginning to implement site-specific zoom tools to account for the fact that many browsers don't handle resizing of pixel-sized fonts (IE, in particular). A prominent example is the new Wired design: http://www.wired.com/ It would be a shame if this became a "standard" widget that web developers implemented because their users didn't know how to resize their text properly. Text zoom should be a featuer of the browser and not of the web page. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
