Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 In edit, preferences; I can read all of the text in the window in the 'navigator' section. Though when I go to the 'helper applications' section, I can't read the text because it goes off the screen. The window is non-resisable. This also happens in various other parts of mozilla, such as the download complete window. I suggest you make a wider window centering all text then with the window widened we can read all of the text that couldn't be read. Or, put a scrollbar down the bottom. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open preferences (edit, preferences) 2. Observe text in languages window compared to that in helper applications Actual Results: I was displayed with the problems described in the details section Expected Results: made wider windows, added a scrollbar within the window, made the window resizable or arranged the text in such a way so it is readable none
Dupe of bug 79889 and bug 93400 When testing Mozilla always test with the lastest build. Mozilla 1.0 is now a bit old and many of the bugs in that version may have been reported and even fixed. Download latest Mozilla here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/
Also search for already reported bugs and try to make the subject concise (for instance this time i didn't know you were referring SPECIFICALLY to the preferences window) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 133627 ***
