Do you mean that the scrollbars don't appear? If so, then this is a duplicate of bug 59108. Also, please read the Bug reporting guidelines at http://www.mozilla.org/quality/bug-writing-guidelines.html to see the information we need in bug reports in order to fix them.

It is not a duplicate of bug 59108 (it does not refer to the category-pane) Here some additional information (sorry for not being more precise earlier): - the category-pane works fine yet - the options shown on the right are cut off by the right and lower edge of the preference window _and_: - the size of the whole window is unchangeable - both classic and modern scins affected - I fist experienced the bug in 0.9.2., in a prior version (dont remember which) the preference window could be rezised using a handle at the lower right corner. This handle is missing now.

This bug is invalid. You can't resize the prefenrces window because bug 79948 changed this. If you see this with a new profile, search bugzilla and then file a new bug... (please read bug 80392 and the bugs who are blocked by this bug)

What does a new profile have to do with this?

I saw it myself and from another user that a bad (old) profile caused that the preferences window was too small. I dunno why but a new profile fixed it for me and also for the other user.

If the dialog size is fixed then we should ignore any saved sizes for it. In fact, if it were resizeable but did *not* save its state we'd have a workaround for users and it would address Ben's concern about content creators: they'd only have to close and reopen the dialog to see the default size.
