The panel should be documented under https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Page_Inspector.

Thank you Sebastian for the comment and keyword.
Note that we've moved DevTools (user) docs to:
https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/devtools-user
Here is the Inspector tool page:
https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/devtools-user/page_inspector/
Here is the file in m-c (Sphinx):
https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/devtools/docs/user/page_inspector/index.rst
We might want to create dedicated page for the Compatibility side panel (just like it's done for other side panels)
DevTools doc will be removed from MDN at some point since it's Firefox specific.
We might also turn this into another bug report (under the Documentation component)

I filed Bug 1750733 to add the documentation. Removing the keyword as this won't be handled by MDN peers.

I bleive that this is a feature worth mentioning in our release notes, will there be a blog post about it? Could you request the addition to 98 release notes? Thanks https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Release_Notes#Nomination_in_Bugzilla

Release Note Request (optional, but appreciated)
[Why is this notable]: We are enabling a DevTools feature in the inspector on Beta and Release channels. It will surface compatibility information for the CSS properties used on the page. This was enabled on Nightly and DevEdition since version 77.
[Affects Firefox for Android]: No
[Suggested wording]: The Compatibility sidebar panel is now available in the DevTools Inspector. It provides compatibility warnings for the CSS properties used on the selected element, as well as for the overall page. Developers may use it to detect web-compatibility issues early, without having to test in each browser. All compatibility data are pulled from MDN.

Note added to our Nightly release notes with this wording:
The Compatibility sidebar panel in the DevTools Inspector already available on pre-release channels will become available on the release channel in version 98 . It provides compatibility warnings for the CSS properties used on the selected element, as well as for the overall page.
Developers may use it to detect web-compatibility issues early, without having to test in each browser. All compatibility data are pulled from MDN.
Thanks!
