tracy can you reproduce on Mac ?

I can reproduce this issue with a existing profile using the 2002-10-23-08 trunk. However, if I create a new profile, the sidebar appears properly using this profile. Tested under 10.2.1.

I have on a few random occassions seen the sidebar on mac appear blank. I could not reliably reproduce it though. A simple restart of the app brought back the sidebar.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021111 with new profile. My Sidebar ends up being blank with the following conditions: 1)The sidebar status is checked in the View:Show/Hide:Sidebar menu 2)The sidebar tray is closed at shutdown 3)Mozilla is restarted 4)I open the sidebar tray Reproducible: Always Work Around: #1 1) With the sidebar tray open. 2) Open the Sidebar's Tabs menu. 3) Uncheck a tab. 4) Open the Sidebar's Tabs menu again. 5) Check the same tab. #2 1) Have the sidebar tray open before shutting Mozilla down. I have tried this with both Classic and Modern themes.

A few more observations: 1) Step 3) in the first work around of comment #4 could also be "Check an unchecked tab." If tne sidebar tray is closed at startup and a new window is openned the sidebar in the new window will be visable but the original window's will remain blank.
