2. Configure a new (Gmail in my case) profile with TB wizard
3. Set a main password in Settings > Privacy
4. Restart Thunderbird

The master password pop-up window is opened once

TB 102 :
The master password pop-up window is opened twice.
It seems that each time TB tries to access a registered password, the pop-up window is shown, without any delay and without checking if it’s already shown.

Expected results:

The master password pop-up window should be open only one time.

Tested with new profiles on macOS 10 & macOS 11

I can confirm the same behavior, TB 102.0 (64-bit) macOS 12.4

I receive multiple master password pop-ups, possibly one for each OAuth2 account: other accounts are checked at startup, but I only get 3 prompts, and I have 3 OAuth2 accounts, the main ones.

Is the component the right one too ?

I've seen this on Mac too but not on Windows. If the component would be wrong, Wayne would have changed it.
