Details
When resizing the width on the customizable "My Panels" panel on the left side
of the screen, the page sometimes misrenders. There seem to be a couple of
problems with this and the reproduction paths are different so I'll write them
up as separate bugs though they may very well require only one fix.
Steps to
Reproduce:
1)type www.mozilla.org in the location box, and press return
2)when
the page comes up click on the the vertical blue divider that separates the "My
Panels" box from the rendered page and resize it by dragging all the way to the
left side of the screen and releasing the mouse button
3)Click on the bar again
and drag to the right, and release the mouse button.
4)Repeat step 2.
Actual Results: When the bar is moved to the left the contents of the panel
does not collapse with it. Instead the page to the right of the bar and the bar
itself move left while the contents of the panel window does not resize. The
left hand portion of the page and the bar disappear behind the non-resizing
contents of the "My Panel" customizable panel.
Expected Results: As the bar
moves left, the vertical bar and the page should cover the contents of the "My
Panels" area, instead of vice versa.
Build Date & Platform Bug Found: Linux
Build 11/11/99
Additional Information:
This seems to have something to do with the width items displayed in the panels
area. if the bar is moved far to right and then back it collapses properly up
to a certain point (usually the point where--i'm using the default "what's
related" panel--the icon plus the text plus three dots...ends).
