There is an additional problem, which may be caused from not using GFX scrollbars: If a select dropdown with a vertical scrollbar appears, the mousewheel does not work as expected. Using it, closes the dropdown, instead of scrolling it. Rod, could you please tell me, if I should file a separate bug on this ?

nominating for mozilla 0.9. I have a bunch of mousewheel bugs targetted for then, and fixing this is necessary to make mousewheel event targetting work correctly on Windows.

What's happening with this bug? Mac OS X list boxes look stupid, because there is a native (Aqua) scrollbar sitting in page content surrounded by our ugly HTML form widgets. I think we need to see some movement towards better-looking form controls.
This bug has been open for quite some time now. Please give a milestone for this bug. It is marked with Severity - critical.
This bug should probably be marked 'wontfix' because of the planned move to XBL form controls.
Is there a bugzilla "bug" number for tracking the XBL form-control implementation? And, has it included the blocked-bugs' issues, especially 33732 (which is quickly noticed by new users)?
