Starting a new mozilla session ONLY AFTER CLOSING MOZILLA COMPLETELY will let me get another gopher reference. Have had friends duplicate this bug with Mozilla 1.2.1. Gopher doesn't work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Step 1: Go to suggested link. Click on South Carolina...watch what happens. Step 2: Close mozilla completely. Step 3: Go to suggested link + "/south%20carolina" ...watch what happens. Actual Results: After step 1 - Mozilla displays gopher link, and blankness - download bar never completes. After step 3 - Mozilla displays gopher link and proper page results. Expected Results: Should not have needed step 2 and 3

I disagree with the reassignment on this bug - the problem happens with directories as well - it is not specific to any specific type of Gopher link. In fact, I have no problem retrieving text links if I follow the instructions I have given.
