Download manager associates exe files to wpd (word perfect documents), which then cannot be opened. I can't seem to find a way to prevent the association. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Try to download an exe file 2. 3. Actual Results: Download manager associated file to wpd (***.exe.wpd) Expected Results: not associated exe file
You have an association set between application/octet-stream and WPD files in preferences. Remove that, and get a build in which bug 189598 is fixed so that it won't happen again.... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 189598 ***
