Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3.1) Gecko/20030425 I upgraded to 1.31. Eerything seemed to be ok. I had to reinstall modem, lost Desktop, now stored as D.bak. Desktop folders are still there when I go to Documents and Settings. However, when I open Mozilla (in All Users), I get a new browser, without all my previous settings. I can't even find my old Bookmarks anywhere, I have searched and searched. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. I don't want to reproduce this problem, and i'm not even going to try. 2. 3. Expected Results: My Desktop going out is not Mozilla's fault, but why did all my Bookmarks ans Preferences disappear?
Well... Just look at releases notes to find profile location. http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.3.1/#files For your upgrading : overwriting a previous mozilla will make your bug to be closed as invalid. http://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.3.1/#install "Install into a new empty directory. Installing on top of previously installed builds may cause problems." How did you upgrade ? Overwriting a previous mozilla ? Or installing it cleanly ?
