Instead a new mail-composition-windows should be opened? Earlier Versions and Installations on other PCs work fine. Perhaps some chaos in my registry from older Installations? The problem can be reproduced on only my PC every time. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: see details above. Expected Results: Opening the "Verfassen"-Dialog to create new mail, the adress from the mailto:-Link already filled in!

Reporter, can you try this on another (non-Mozilla) browser? Also, try deleting your profile and then retrying.
This looks very similar to bug 181157. Matthias Hoffmann, just to check: when you installed Mozilla, did you include the Mail/News component?
Yes, I've installed the mail/news-component, doing my daily emailing with Mozilla!
