Suggest an option to add a second level to the tab bar to show the grouped tab
names. Under each grouped tab, would be the individual tabs of the group.
If the this option is enabled then clicking on a book marked group of tabs would
add a new grouped tab, and the any existing grouped tabs would remain, otherwise
the new grouped tab would replace the old one.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying. Do you want Mozilla to load just one tab
when loading a bookmarked tab group and then show, in in a second tab bar-type
thing below the current one, all the tabs contained in that bookmarked group of
tabs?
If so, this is a pretty peculiar request, so I have a feeling it might get
WONTFIXed.
And thinking in the future, Mozilla Firebird deals away with the "bookmark this
group of tabs" concept, an odd application of the idea in the first place, and
replaces it with the ability to bookmark all open tabs in a folder--and, at the
bottom of every folder in the bookmarks menu, there's a menu item to open all
items in separate tabs.

My suggestion was in response to reading about a lot of people complaining about
how selecting another bookmark of tabs replaces the current selecton.
Another way of explaining what I meant is as follows, considr having two tab
bars, the top one is for group tabs, the second for individual tabs within each
group;
| morning | updates |
| User Friendly | Slashdot | Linux Today | Redhat Support | freshrpms |
Here there are 2 grouped tabs:
"morning" & "updates"
The grouped tab "morning" groups three tabs:
"User Friendly", "Slashdot", and "Linux Today"
The lower level tabs for a grouped tab will be loaded together, and clicking on
on a lower level tab like "Slashdot" will display that tab and whatever has
loaded so far (the same behaviour as Mozilla has now).
I think the above concept would also be useful for Mozilla Firebird. Where the
grouped tab name is that of the directory holding the bookmarks.

Currently there's a preference to select if a bookmark group should replace the
current set or it is added to it, so this point isn't a complain anymore.
And I think that all the bugs about adding several levels to the tab bar has
been marked wontfix, and so it should be this one.
Alfonso, what other bugs have requested multilevel tabs?
And should this be listed as a dupe of them?

just search for resolved and confirmed bugs in Tab Browser with "level" in the
summary. That gives you a first one, but there are more.
As Gavin hasn't replied to my comment I think that he agrees with comment 3 (it
doesn't mean that he agrees that multilevel tabs are bad, just that this is a dup).

(In reply to comments #3 & #5)
I still think grouped tabs like I outlined in #2 are a good idea, but I don't
want to artificially push for a higher priority over other bugs/enhancements -
as I am not in a position to evaluate relative merit and I know there are
limited resources for Mozilla development.
