when i select View > Use Stylesheet > [any], nothing happens --this occurs on all platforms using today's bits: 1999121609 (mac and win) and 1999121608 (linux). the only exception is that on linux a checkmark appears when i select one of the stylesheets to use (but still nothing). if this feature has yet to be implemented, could the menu items pls be inactivated? that would avoid potential user confusion.

Is "View | Use Stylesheet" really going to refer to skins??? That sounds to me like an alternate stylesheet UI (bug 6782).
