With all the talk of bug and feature bounties, what about including some sort of
bounty provision in Bugzilla itself? It would allow anybody to put a "price" on
a bug, or contribute to a "feature fund". Admittedly, this wouldn't be a quick
thing to add, but it might come in handy. The person or group that submits an
acceptible patch to fix the bug or add the feature would get the bounty.
See http://opensourcexperts.com and http://gnome.org/bounties for examples.

isn't this just a dup of bug 213437? (via bug 227382)

Yeah, looks like it. Although I'm still convinced that some sort of option like
this, while not the easiest thing to implement, would be really valuable.
