Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040626 Firefox/0.9.1 Build Identifier: version 0.7.1 (20040616) I have multiple identities; msgs are filtered in proper "local" folders. When I get new mail that is properly filtered, I get a change new mail icon at the left on the identity name (even if there are no new marked msgs in the original folders of my identity folder: all msgs have been filtered). BUT, if I read all my new messages, the bold text showing the folder and nr. of msgs where my msgs have been filtered cocctly disappears BUT the new mail icon on the left of the identity name does not disappear. IE. (**new mail icon**) IDENTITY_NAME inbox (empty) LOCAL FOLDERS [BOLD]myfilteringfolder_for_identity_name[BOLD] (1) If I read that single new msg, the (**new mail icon**) is still there (but the rest is ok). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.create a filter for an identity and a local folder for it 2.get new msgs for that identity the will be filtered by your new filter of step 1 3.read (or mark as read, it happens nonetheless) all your the new filtered mail from your local folder Actual Results: 4.look up at your identity name and see that the new icon is still there. Expected Results: Replace the new icon at the left of the identity name with the standard icon for "no new mail". This bug seems to be theme-independent. I tried it with a standard Thunderbird with no themes and a Caramel-Themed version. Workaround: click on the inbox folder in the original identity section to restore the correct icon.
