Status bar and down scroll arrow are "hidden" when you restore a Full Screen
window in OSX.
This error appears similar to Bug #215362, although a different path for
reproduction.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open any site
2. Select View/Full Screen
3. Click the green Restore button at the left side of the title bar.
Actual Results:
The status bar and bottom scroll arrow are "hidden."
Expected Results:
Resize the window and make the status and scroll arrow visible.
To restore both the scroll arrow and status bar, select View/Full Screen again.

OSX v0.9
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040715
Firefox/0.9.1+
Confirming. If you just reproduce the first 2 steps you lose the status bar, the
bottom scroll bar and the right side scroll arrows off the bottom of the screen.
I don't know how this looks on other platforms but on the Mac the layout is
horrible. There are even some Windows icons on the right-hand side of the
Navigation Toolbar!
I too see a similar problem, only mine's with Windows XP (Pro) running dual
monitors. When I have FireFox open in 2nd monitor Maximized and click Restore
(so I can move it back to monitor 1), the TITLE bar and CLOSE|Maximize|Minimize
buttons are cut off the top of the screen, as well as FireFox menu and address
bar. The only way to fix it is to resize the window manually and move it back
to my 1st monitor that way.
The corner in the window protrudes beyond the display when the Full screen is
selected.
Scroll arrow cannot be seen...

Using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.7)
Gecko/20050414 Firefox/1.0.3/Mac X.2.8:
Problem still occurs. First on view full screen the window goes and draws behind
the dock and the right corner zooms off screen.
Then upon using the green minimize button in the title bar the window resizes to
the correct size clearing the dock OK but the status bar at the bottom is lost.

Also, clicking on any other tabs that happen to be open at the same time will
exhibit the same behaviors on their tabs.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.

Responding to auto-resolve email: This bug still exists exactly as desrcibed in
the initial bug report and which has been confirmed by 8 more users. It is a
by-product of the Full Screen mode which causes the status bar to disappear.
Restoring the window should restore the status bar. Full Screen menu item is
never checked either.

Bug exists in v1.0.7. Functionality should be that the window Restore button
should automatically revert out of Full Screen mode.

Is this even possible with Firefox 1.5? I see no option for a full screen mode.

Full Screen for Mac builds was disabled in bug 307340, because it was buggy. Bug 307371 deals with fixing it and re-enabling it.

So this bug should get looked at if/when full screen gets reimplemented.
Depends on: 307371

I'm confirming this bug so it doesn't sit in UNCO. It's something to consider when full-screen mode gets turned back on.

This described behavior is not visible anymore with the newly implemented fullscreen mode. Leaving the fullscreen mode doesn't hide the status bar or scroll arrows.
Fixed by bug 370857.

Verified fixed on 1.9.2 with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.2b1pre) Gecko/20090922 Namoroka/3.6b1pre ID:20090922041132
Markus, would it be worth having another test here? Beside that I would definitely add a check in a litmus test.
