User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Firefox/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040608 Firefox/0.8.0+ Very consistent reproducable crash in DOM inspector Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. load a page, any page. 2. open dom inspector for the page you just loaded (ctrl-shift-I or tools->DOM inspector) 3. select a node in the document tree in the left pane 4. select "CSS style rules" in the drop-down at the top-left of the righthand pane 5. close the browser window containing the page you're inspecting, or navigate to a different page 6. return to the DOM inspector and select a different document node 7. KABOOM! Actual Results: Crash Expected Results: Not crash :) I aprpeciate that the DOM isn't there anymore, so continuing to inspect the non-existent DOM probably isn't an option, but it shouldn't crash, either. Talkbacks: TB398711H, TB398690Y (Firefox 0.9.2) TB398736Z, TB398719Q (Seamonkey 1.7)
I would appear that I'm a dolt who can't even keep track of what version of Firefox I have installed on this machine. The Firefox talkbacks above were actually on Firefox 0.8.0+ not 0.9.2. TB398792H really IS from Firefox 0.9.2
silly me, stack trace shows this is a duplicate of bug 219514 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 219514 ***
