This is a request to put the close button on the find bar back to the right
side. Please see the last few comments in bug 250648. I'll list my specific
comments here:
------- Additional Comment #20 From Dean Tessman 2004-10-18 10:47 PDT [reply]
-------
It now looks inconsistent compared to the tab bar, the missing plug-in
notification, and the blocked popup notification.

I now travel more "mouse miles" to get from the Close Tab button to the Close
Find button than I did before. That's a lot of spins on my trackball.

Setting blocking flag to get attention of Blake or Ben.
Flags: blocking-aviary1.0?

Dean, please don't use the flags to get the attention of the developers. Why not
just reopen the original bug and ask for a roll back there?

Fine, don't call it (In reply to comment #2)

Fine, don't call it getting there attention. Call it asking for inclusion in 1.0.
> Why not just reopen the original bug and ask for a roll back there?
Because that bug, as requested, is fixed. Re-opening a fixed bug because you
don't like it is very annoying.

sounds like it may be difficult to keep everyone happy no matter where this
close button is placed, and it's late in the game to be moving things again. we
need to close down so we can ship 1.0. sounds like this should be made
configurable in the next release.

Thinking about it (and going completely off-topic - sorry I know it's bad
bugzilla etiquette!) I'd be happy if I could tab to it and press space to close it.

Now that we've all gotten used to it over the last few months, I'd be surprised
if this wasn't wontfixed. The current setup is fine.

The main complaint of this bug seems to be that the tab close button is on a different side of the screen to the FAYT bar close button. Seeing as the tab close button is now on each tab this should probably go to WONTFIX.

Given that only one person has voted for this bug and as comment 10 says, there are now close buttons on every tab, I agree that this should be WONTFIXed.
