The current behavior makes the "paste" feature bookmark manager unuseable. it's completely different to the behaviour of common file managers. this can't be on purpose. another related problem can be found in Bug #287650

Besides the "paste into folder" issue, the very fact that pasted items get inserted ABOVE the current cursor position (instead of BELOW it) is really annoying (e.g. most text-editor users are used to see pasted clipboard lines below the current line, not above it)
