User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050226 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; fr-FR; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050226 Firefox/1.0.1 Like in SM I know that they are 2 separated application but it should be very nice... maybe by modifying an option in TB and FF. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: open middle-clicked links in a new tab if the browser is tab compatible
This should be more powerful for new user to who we try to convert to tab use : the same way in all mozilla app for doing something.
Reporter, This can be done by doing the following in Firefox: Click Tools Click Options Click the "Tabs" option Click "Force links that open new windows to open in:" Click "a new Tab" This should solve your problem. Please mark the bug resolved - invalid. Regards
I don't think this is invalid. One might want to have a new window opened by default in Firefox, but a new tab, when middle-clicking from TB. Or (like me) leave Firefox unfocused when middle-clicking in TB, but focus it when calling from other applications or on left-click. The point of this bug was either about better integration between the two apps or the consistence. Either way, it's a duplicate. See bug 270434 and bug 273058. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 273058 ***
