Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2
When you expand the headers list of an e-mail, and you move the horizontal
divider of the Thunderbird layout, the text of the headers will show allover
the statusbar.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open an e-mail
2. click the [+] sign to view all headers (possibly go to View -> Headers -> All
also)
3. move the horizontal divider so that the headers list cannot be seen fully.
Actual Results:
The text of the Headers list shows ontop of the statusbar.
Expected Results:
The text of the Headers should not be shown over the statusbar.

It is essentially the same issue -- the headers box especially in all headers
mode is not reasonably sized, and gets frisky on all the other ui bits. I
suggest heeding bug 269780 comment 4 -- View -> Message Source (ctrl-u) is a
better full headers view.

WFM Thunderbird version 1.0+ (20050610) Linux.
Reporter, does this problem also occur with a current nightly build?

I'm the one who duped 269780 to 223132, but I've changed my mind; this symptom
is distinct. Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it -- what *I* see when the
envelope panel encroaches on the status bar, is that the status bar is pushed
down and out of the window, not that the envelope data overlays the status bar
(as in Seamonkey bug 41994). I see the same symptom with 1.5b1 and 1.6a1.
I'm wondering if that's a theme issue; I'm always using qute/classic on Windows
2000. Bug 269780 was filed against OS X; this bug and bug 307929 are against
WinXP. Are any of the reporters still seeing the overlay symptom with 1.5b1 or
the trunk?

As I wrote in comment 5 it's not happening with Linux builds. Also version 1.6a1
(20050911) if fine for me.

Did you see the symptom on earlier builds? That's not clear from comment 5.

Ok, I tested with 1.0.6. The header pane isn't over the status bar. But when I
resize the height of the whole window, the status bar get's lost when the window
is too small-sized. But this is another issue.

Ok, catched it. I can reproduce it with version 1.5 Beta 1 (20050908)
Linux/Debian. I have just selected all headers view and can reproduce it
everytime on messages with long headers. But for curiosity this bug doesn't
occur for the same message after I moved it to another folder and then back. Now
the header pane doesn't overlap the status bar anymore but the status bar gets
hidden when sizing the window too flat.
