Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; WinNT4.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: version 1.0.2 (20050317) See bug #292153 for the general problem. Until that bug is resolved it would make sense if Thunderbird would automatically place the "Collected Addresses" (history) address book at the bottom of the list in the same way it currently places the "Personal Address Book" (pab) at the top of the list (unless overridden by manual editing of prefs.js; See bug #275485 Comment #2.) Normally if you create a new address book, it will be placed below "Collected Addresses" in the display (and thus search) order. The reason why you want "Collected Addresses" to have the lowest priority is that when performing an autocomplete look-up, any address the user has manually entered should show up in the list of choices before any addresses that were automatically captured. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Duplicate of Core bug 158728?
(In reply to comment #1) > Duplicate of Core bug 158728? Yup, it is. (Is a 2002 core bug likely to get addressed and merged over to Thunderbird? Or I should say...any more likely to get addressed than a Thunderbird RFE?) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 158728 ***
