1. Launch Software Update
2. Install and download button is cut off and there is a slider

Could we improve this UI so you can see the whole wizard screen without having
to scroll the bar horizontally?

Just make the window wide enough by default to contain all of the content

The story is even worse when there are extensions which will be disabled by the
update, it seems!

nit: the buttons are slightly cut off at the bottom of the dialog.

Er, that's a little more than a nit; we should take care of the cut off
buttons, as they're pretty noticable.
