(Reporter: FirasE, Unassigned)
Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4
Went to a site where I received a message box from FF: "The plugin performed an
illegal operation. You are strongly advised to restart Navigator." Presumably
left over from Netscape code.
Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a site where a plugin crashes
2. Note the text msg from FF
Actual Results:
Dialog with aforementioned text appears.
Expected Results:
Dialog box where FF refers to itself as FF, not Navigator.

Is this reproducable with a nightly build? http://www.mozilla.org/developer
Fixed by Core bug 188557?

That bug was fixed back in January, the build being reported is 1.0.4 (May 11),
so perhaps it is very strongly related to that core bug.

bug 188557 was fixed on the trunk (--> Deer Park), not on the branch (-->
Firefox 1.0.X)
