I don't understand the jargon and simply can't find an area to report what is happening. So here it is.... a) I have duplicate emails appear, then it's a matter of trying to delete the right one as one is a "ghost" and appear as blank, with the date 1.01.1970 each time. b) when trying to bring up an email into a large screen, it comes up blank quite often. c) the email count is all over the place...sometimes it comes up that I have say, 30, and there may be 2 or 3. d)the inbox can show 300 perhaps and there are really only say, 14. e)counts are ridiculous, anything is possible at any time. f) email is very slow to open g)sometimes I cannot delete an email at the first attempt. Closing and then reopening Thunderbird at time fixes the problem. Help! I'm sorry if this is the wrong way to go, but I find all this totally confusing. Thank you, Chris Chris@embedded.com.au Reproducible: Always

Please never reply to bugmails directly, only add comments in the bug report itself. Thanks. From reporter per private e-mail: Version 1.0.7 Sorry about placing the complaint in the wrong place. As stated, I really am confused by all the terminology. To reply to this, I have had to copy the email and then paste in a new email, as it wouldn't let me reply straight away, or to any other email at times. That's another problem. I love Thunderbird and have been using it and Firefox for some time without problems. This has been reinstalled, yet is still giving problems. Thank you, Chris

I experienced simular behaviour (see bug 314556). After deleting the .msf files of the mailfiles with problems, the problems disappeared.
