User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051030 Firefox/1.6a1 Build Identifier: version 1.5 Beta 2 (20051006) Suddenly many of the messages in my mailbox (shared inbox) are duplicated. When I delete one of the duplicate messages, both messages are removed, but an empty message dated 01-01-1970 remains in the shared inbox. The trash folder now contains both an empty message and one of the duplicate messages that was deleted. I have to move this message back to the inbox , because it is not there anymore. Reproducible: Always
Severity: major → normal
Version: unspecified → 1.5
Related to Bug 136049?
To comment#1: Maybe, i noticed this after a DST change and I have my mailboxes on a FAT32 partition. Symptoms are similar to bug 312519. I opened the "Local Folders\Inbox" file in vim. I saw that the messages are there twice with the same Message-ID. It is possible that these problems started after creating some new filters on deferred accounts. I am hesitating to try to reproduce the problem, because I don't want to loose my mail.
I deleted the .msf files of my inbox and trash folder. They were out of sync with the corresponding mail files. The duplicate messages have now disappeared.
