The ISO 639 Joint Advisory Committee met in February and approved the
addition of a language code for Bosnian.

ISO 639-2 code: bos
ISO 639-1 code: bs

I will be announcing it in a newsletter in the near future.

Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Depends upon enabling HTTP accept-language feature.
Target Milestone: --- → M16
Reassigned to jbetak for Beta2.
Morphed bug into providing pref UI for accept-language similar to 4.x.
Assignee: bobj → jbetak
Status: ASSIGNED → NEW
Keywords: beta2
Summary: Add Bosnian to Accept-Language → Accept-Language UI
Backend support was fixed by bug 13380.
Only need UI to modify the prefs.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
The required list of languages should be the same as 4.x with the addition of
Bosnian. Any other additions should be added to this bug.

momoi, Do you still have the list of accept-languages that you created for 4.x?
Yes, I do but several other changes need to be made to it.
Please look at the final Communicstor 4 List on this page:

http://warp/GApps/intl/

The link called "Accept-Language Additions List -- Final (Kat Momoi)"
is found under Commuicator 4/Dogbert section of the page.

What's the timeline on additions?
momoi-san, this is a great help. I plan to be finished by the end of the next
week. It would be great, if the extensions could be finalized by then. Of
course, as long as it happens before Beta2, thatΒ΄s fine with me. From my
perspective at least, itΒ΄s not hard to extend the list.

The link is http://warp/GApps/intl/ALaddfinal.html
Pls go ahead and implement whatever list we have by the end of this week.
As jbetak says, it should be easy to extend this list before Beta2 freeze.

*** Bug 6827 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Putting on [nsbeta2+][5/16] radar. This is a feature MUST complete work by
05/16 or we may pull this feature for PR2.

just checked in - the pref window is in a bad shape right now, I'm taking some
shortcuts that need to be "polished up" once the pref window is reasonably
usable again.

When selecting Language in preference, Netscape will crash-bug 16807. So, I
cannot verify this until the bug is fixed.
Depends on: 16807
I verified this in 2000-06-08 Linux, Mac, and Win32 build.
