Firefox sometimes freezes during start acrobat reader plugin. This happens if a timeout occurs. In this case closing firefox is possible only by the windows taskmanager
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Search in Google for "kap hoorn hamburg verschollen"
2. Choose the first PDF result
3. Open it in a new tab
It happens only if the server doesn't respond
Actual Results:
Firefox sometimes freezes
Expected Results:
Should allow to close the tab corresponding to the not responding site

I had also this behaviour before. But after upgrading to Acroread 7.07 everything was OK

I'am running Acrobate Reader 707 too. Nevertheless the problem occurs.

Reporter, do you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2 and the latest acrobat? If not, can you please close this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks!
