This happens if a timeout occurs. In this case closing firefox is possible only by the windows taskmanager Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Search in Google for "kap hoorn hamburg verschollen" 2. Choose the first PDF result 3. Open it in a new tab It happens only if the server doesn't respond Actual Results: Firefox sometimes freezes Expected Results: Should allow to close the tab corresponding to the not responding site

I had also this behaviour before. But after upgrading to Acroread 7.07 everything was OK
