The way toolkit interprets * is not as a wildcard but as a very large number. This makes it ideal for maxVersion but poor for minVersion. Currently AMO allows you uploading an extension with a minVersion of 1.5.0.* which will then not install on any 1.5.0.x app.
It would be useful if these versions were not allowed as minVersions to avoid developers making that mistake.

Clearly this bug isn't fixed or 372820 isn't as related as one would want me to believe. *scratching head*

See comment 1, and bug 372820 comment 1. Remora is the new version of addons, and it no longer allows uploading broken extensions like the one that led you to file your bug.

I had the same problem in Firefox 2.0.0.2 with the dutch dictionary
I have the same as Marcel, both in FF 2.0.0.2 and FF 2.0.0.3 (on Win98, WinXP and Ubuntu 6.10) and this is fixed according to comment #1?
