User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.2) Gecko/20070219 Firefox/2.0.0.2 I'm trying to install Nederlands Woordenboek using Firefox version 2.0.0.2. After checking compatibility the installation is aborted and Firefox shows a pop-up stating that the extension is not compatible with my version of Firefox and I should in fact use Firefox versions 2.0.0.* to 3.0a1. Isn't the * supposed to be a wild card and isn't my version of Firefox in that case supposed to be compatible? Thanks in advance for any comment or help you can give me. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/dictionaries/?lang=en-US 2. Click 'Install' where it says 'Dutch | Nederlands (nl-nl) (or click: http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/extensions/nederlands_woordenboek/nederlands_woordenboek-1.0.4-fx+zm+tb.xpi) 3. Click 'Install Now' after 4 seconds. Actual Results: I get the usual blablabla-pop-up stating the fact that my browser lacks compatibility with the extension I'm trying to install. Expected Results: Install the Dutch Dictionary like it's supposed to.
This is a problem with the extension that the author needs to fix. That it was listed on AMO at all was due to bug 347251.
