It's just about time to release Bugzilla 3.0, our first new major version in almost nine years. :-) Ideally, I'd like to release *just* Bugzilla 3.0, not any other branch releases, so that this release can really be our focus and we can do special things for it if we want. My understanding is that justdave is going to talk to Mozilla PR and see if they'd like to do any PR for us on 3.0. I'm personally not too interested in reviews or news articles, but maybe something else could be done. We should think if there's any website changes we'd like to generally do for the 3.0 release, also. (Probably not, our website works pretty well, but just something to think about.)

Also, as additional information: LpSolit has said that once all of our blockers are fixed (and there aren't that many), QA for the 3.0 release will only take a day or so.

Before running Selenium scripts on 3.0 final, there are two issues I have to investigate first: - colchange.cgi generates an incorrect URL under mod_perl: changing the list of columns to display in buglists replaces all & separating fields by ;. It's amazing to see that Bugzilla still works with such a URL though. - it seems that creating a new custom drop down menu generates an invalid default value (NULL instead of ---). I have to investigate why this happened on my installation and if it's due to the fact that my custom field name was uppercase. If that's only related to the case of the field name, then that's covered by bug 373869
