User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.3) Gecko/20070309 Firefox/2.0.0.3 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.5.0.10 At the "Internet Options" of Internet Explorer, tab "Programs", I see that Thunderbird's address book doesn't appear at the "Contact List" selection box. I only get Microsoft's "Address Book" there. This is a problem when trying to add vcards to Thunderbird's Address Book Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the "Operator" plugin for firefox 2. Visit a page with an hCard, such as http://www.microformats.org/ 3. Use the plugin's toolbar to add that hCard to your address book Actual Results: The addressbook of Outlook Express opens Expected Results: The address book of Thunderbird should open
Dupe of bug 79709... ?
Almost, but not exactly - bug 79709 doesn't mention that Thunderbird's Address Book is missing from the "Internet Options" of Internet Explorer.
Given that Thunderbird's address book does not properly support the 3.0 vCard format (as per bug 29106), I guess there are still some issues to be resolved before correctly coping with this bug. Per the bug's title, the issue also applies to Mac OS X 10.4, since dragging a .vfc file to Thunderbird doesn't open it and prompt to add the vcard(s) to Thunderbird's address book. I imagine the issue with the Operator add-on for Firefox also applies.
