Details

(From bug 230580 comment #82) Steps to reproduce: 1. Have Thunderbird 2.0 use OE's address book (cf. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Using_Outlook_(Express)_contacts_with_Thunderbird_or_Mozilla_Mail ) 2. Open Tb's address book Actual results: Every time you open Tb's address book, a useless ldap_2.servers._nonascii preference tripple gets added (where the _1 bits count upwards): user_pref("ldap_2.servers._nonascii_1.filename", "_nonascii_1.mab"); user_pref("ldap_2.servers._nonascii_1.replication.lastChangeNumber", 0); user_pref("ldap_2.servers._nonascii_1.uri", "moz-abldapdirectory://_nonascii_1.mab"); Further information: OE's and TB's address book can both be empty for it to work.

Moving to Core Address book as it'll affect both seamonkey & thunderbird.
