It would be great if we could paste as attachment besides pasting clipboard contents in the Compose window.
Thanks!!!
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
If you mean to be able to attach a file using shortcut keys (Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V) then I vote for this too. I'm extramely missing this feature. (I use TB2.0.0.6 on WinXPSP2)
Thx,

See also bug 113435 and bug 241439. It's closest to the latter, but not the same (a possible resolution for 241439 would be to disable pasting as a link, whereas this request is to have the paste command attach the file).
Fixing one of those may fix this one as well, but it doesn't strike me as a dup, so I'm confirming it.

This appears to be part of what is proposed in bug 335783, which is a bit more general and also would support direct pasting of an image from the clipboard into an attachment.
