Details
The perf test machines are desktop-class OS and hardware, and tend to be pretty unreliable (see bl-bldxp01 for a good example of this). Also it may be valuable to test cold start after OS boot versus warm start. Rebooting nightly would probably be good enough.

I guess this is feasible as long as the perf. numbers don't show large variance (ref. bug 379257).
