Steps were presumably just "load attached testcase in a debug build". (Jesse's testcases are generally self-contained & just need to be loaded; and note that assertions only happen in debug builds.) Good news: currently, this bug's testcase does not trigger any assertions for me (in a debug build), on Linux at least. Jesse, do you still get any assertions? If not, I think this is WORKSFORME.
