My personal folder list extend beyond the screen size so, when drag-n-drop'ing a link into my personal folder list, I need that list to scroll. It does not.
My remedy is to open personal folder list and scroll to where my target folder is so it is visible and then drag-n-drop my link into that folder.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Personal folder list needs to be longer than window size
2.Drag link from search bar to folder not visible. Drag to the scroll arrow does not scroll the list
3.
Actual Results:
list does not scroll
Expected Results:
List scrolls
scroll the list to end

If you drag the link on the chevron (>> symbol on the right end), then you get a popup. You can drag your link over the popup and place it between the folders where you like it.

Key phrase here is " the bookmark list is larger than the window" forcing you to hit the scrolling chevron. While dragging, hitting the chevron doesn't cause the list to scroll.

It's not a scrolling chevron. Hover over it, and you get the popup.
Do you want the bookmark toolbar to function like the tab toolbar just below ? If there are too many tabs, scroll buttons appear. If the bookmark toolbar did the same, it would be more consistent.

Popup needs to scroll. When dragging URL to popup I cannot scroll the popup if my target folder is out of the window.
I have the same problem. While draging a link in a bookmarks toolbar folder larger than the screen, you have to drop it "somewhere" scroll down the bookmarks in folder and drag it again within the folder to the position you want it.
Happens with at least all FF 2.x releases and the new FF 3. I'm working with WinXP an Win2k.
