After the Firefox 2.0.0.7 update, I can no longer browse the internet using the wheel of the mouse for scrolling. As I've found that I can scroll other programs on Windows XP, I can only assume that something went wrong with the update.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open broswer
2.Scroll down pages using the mouse wheel, and it won't work.

Expected Results:  
I should been able to scroll up and down web pages using the mouse wheel.

1- Can you try in safe mode? 
Start/Programs/Mozilla Firefox/Mozilla Firefox (safe mode) 
Is the problem still occuring when you are in safe mode?

2- Have you recently updated your mouse driver? What is mouse: model, make, type, etc...

3- Can you give helpful details about your mouse and your mouse driver version?
Start/Control Panel/Mouse/Wheel tab/Scrolling/ value chosen?

Start/Control Panel/Mouse/Hardware tab/Properties button/Driver tab/...

I've tried Safe Mode - Scrolling still doesn't work.

I'm starting to wonder if I should downgrade back to 2.0.0.6 to get scrolling back...

unless you can provide more details and some specific info, I will resolve this bug as a duplicate of bug 20618.

The mouse is a Labtec PS/2 compatible mouse. I had got it last month.

The driver version is 5.1.2600.0. It hasn't been updated.

I'm starting to think it may be my mouse - scrolling using the mouse wheel doesn't work totally with Firefox 2.0.0.6 either. However, it somehow works on forum jumps. But that's it.

Did you visit your mouse manufacturer's website to see if there are any bug report or updated driver for your mouse model?

As far as I can see, this bug will be resolved as a duplicate of bug 20618.
No bug reports, or updated drivers.
