User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.9) Gecko/20071105 Fedora/2.0.0.9-1.fc7 Firefox/2.0.0.9 Build Identifier: Thunderbird version 2.009 On earlier Thunderbirds you could use View -> Messages and then set the number. On the new version 2.xxxx this does not exist and no documentation exits to tell you another way to fix it. It was fine sowing 5 messages in the start, but for some reason it now shows a hundred or more and there is no way to correct the problem. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: There is no way to change it back to just 5 messages
Version: unspecified → 2.0
I can't recall having seen a view for 5 messages, but there is one for messages from the last 5 days. To enable views, you need to add the toolbar item from View -> Toolbars -> Customize, per http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/2.0.0.9/releasenotes/#issues (yes, I guess it not being in the menu when the toolbar widget is not there is a bit odd in some ways and helpful in others. bug 332802 has some discussion related to that.)
