This appears to be Linux only. Since the landing of bug 398020, the URL in the locationbar is no longer updated when you switch tabs.

Steps to reproduce? Is bug 398020 the only one in the regression range?

I did a new pull of the tree by time form just before bug 398020 landed and verified that everything worked properly, then applied the patch in bug 398020 and virified it was broken. I could not reproduce the issue in a Win32 build. I do not have a Mac so could not check a Mac build.

The real issue here was that the check-in for bug 398020 breaks the "VeriSign EV Green Bar Extension" which I was testing on my Linux, but not my Windows system.

I filed bug 405218 on the issue.
