Details

If I try to download, e.g. ftp: //ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest/mozilla-win32-talkback.zip using builds after some point of M16 nightlies, I get not even the "Unknown File Type" window, Progressmeter keeps spinning, also throbber. The URL of the file is set into location bar - but nothing else happening. If I try a .tar.gz file instead of a .zip, it works. Also working if I use http instead of ftp. I also tried other .zip files, it happens, too. The problem is happening for all .zip files via ftp. I didn't encounter other file types where it happens. Still happening with 2000-05-22-08 (win32).
is this a dup of 38960 ?
doesn't look like a dupe of 38960 for me. The URL there is http, it shows content of the file like a text for me in the browser, and then crashes. Here, when I try to dl the file, throbber and progressmeter start spinning, never stop and Mozilla doesn't show anything. It should come up with the "Unknown File Type" window though.
As #38572 is exactly the same issue and is marked dupe of #38960, I'm marking this a dupe, too. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 38960 ***

Please note that this is really a dup of 38572 which was incorrectly (I believe) closed as a dup of 38960.
