Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: History -> Show all History or Bookmarks -> Show all Bookmarks -> Select History in left pane Actual Results: Search bar says "Search in Bookmarks", typing in box searches bookmarks. Expected Results: Search bar says "Search in History", typing in box searches history.
well, there is Bug 331403 on showing the scope of a search but it's a little outdated... should at least wait for the new places organizer design to report on this...
I was more interested in the behaviour rather than appearance (select History, search, get search results for bookmarks is hardly intuitive), but if there's still scope to change it that's a good thing.
well the idea is to have bookmarks and history somehow unified (for example having a unified sidebar), but still this needs designs, so still need to wait for first redesign iterations

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h". In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows: Tools | Message Filters Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New" Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h Change the action to "Delete Message". Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top. Click OK. Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter. Gerv
