Gnomestripe should use the GTK stock icon "gtk-directory" for file:/// URIs.

This needs bug 388553 fixed, or else we're going to have to hardcode the icons. :(

Well, can this be hardcoded for every platform or just for one (=winstripe)? The current icon (as well as the icon for remote locations) looks very out-of place...
