User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032619 Firefox/3.0b5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b5) Gecko/2008032619 Firefox/3.0b5 In all previous versions of Firefox (through 2.0.whatever), when you pressed Command+Enter to complete an address in the location bar, it just filled in the .com for you, went to that location, and that was the end of it. But with the Firefox 3 betas, the default Mac OS X alert sound plays whenever you hit Command+Enter. I don't see any reason why an alert sound should play in this scenario. There's nothing to alert you about, it should just go to the address. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type (for example) "google" in the location bar. 2. Press Command+Enter to complete the address to "www.google.com" 3. An alert sound plays Actual Results: An alert sound played, and Firefox went to www.google.com as expected. Expected Results: There should be NO sound, and Firefox should go to www.google.com as it did.
