Using 2000-06-29-09 commercial build on NT The app frequently switches all its fonts to a small (~9pt) serif font, rather than the sans serif font we usually use. Not only is the serif font uglier, but the switching is visually jarring. I've seen the serif font in both Modern and Classic skins. One easy way to reproduce is to delete a mail message, and then all of the chrome flashes and reflows due to the font change. Since this is a recent regression (perhaps related to some Classic skin work?), and is pretty ugly, I'd like to see if we could fix this for beta2.

the flashing effect and "unexplainable" fontchanges was earlyer a result of bug 43409, where default screen-resolution is set as 9696 instead of 96. Realted: 43264.

My font resolution is 96 dpi

Have you seen this in any builds 6-30 or later? Marc Attinasi turned off style context sharing (which was a big bloat reduction when on) on 2000-06-29 16:13 because it was causing "incorrect styling of some XUL elements".

I think that this is probably a duplicate of bug 43658 as David Baron pointed out. This is not likely to be a Themes bug. Phil if you still have a case that causes this behavior could you either add the details to 43658 or send this bug to the owner of that bug?
